An Uncluttered Life – Dreaming of Simplicity and Comfort

My sabbatical month is over and my first post for the year is already overdue. It´s time to stop thinking and pondering and start taking action in both my lives. For some days already I´ve begun to feel this overwhelming need to clean up (inventory in SL, belongings in RL), of editing  and simplifying.

Perhaps this is one of the reasons I´m currently in love with the Mirte Structural Dress by Faenzo. I had actually tried to get it so many times already but Collaborator 88, where it is available, is such a success that the SIM is almost always full. Eventually after many, many tries and several days, I was able to get in and snatch it.

The reason why I love it, is of course its minimalist and sensual simplicity which is exactly what I am currently in the mood for and not just for Fashion. The dress comes in two types of textures:  Leather (as worn) or cotton for a lot less visual noise.

Last but not least, the dress reminds me of one I happen to own in RL with a few less bare differences.  It´s made of cotton and all perfect to keep you feminine in all your coolness. The RL dress reminds me of good times, Sunday afternoons after a beach trip and ice cream cones.    To balance the bare feel of the SL dress I paired it with one of the best boots of the season: The Ikela by HH Hucci.

I hope to start decluttering my life and my surroundings tomorrow and I truly hope that this act will bring me greater clarity of mind and spiritual awareness.  I will pull out my cotton dress and wear it afterwards and I will bask in the summer sun*  eating an ice cream.

xoxo,

Landa
